I'd rather they get one of those guys anyway, especially if it meant we could keep Kevin Martin. But it doesn't sound like they're available, or likely to be anytime soon.

    You said you'd leave.

    Why are you still here?

What difference does it make to nuggets? Once melo is gone they are either lottery or 1st round exit at best.

Why are people refering to kings as a scrub team. Has everyone forgotten Tyreke Evans, who is Mr. Rookie stats similar to Lebron, Jordan and the Big O?

In all honesty though, Melo and Evans cannot play together. They would both try to dominate the ball.

If the Kings are stupid, Denver could go for Evans, but the Kings have been making good moves recently. Not to mention, I support any team that Landry is a part of.

Because of there record last year. But I do agree there improving, I'm not sure how the Kings will look if they do get Melo, they may have to give up some good young talent to get him like Cousins. I'm not sure they would do that, especially if it's a 1 year rental...

    Like I said before

    1) Melo sees nothing enticing to join the Rockets roster

    2) Denver wouldn't trade with a West rival

I don't buy that logic. If a team from the West offers the best deal, the Nuggets would be dumb not to trade them there. They are going to be in rebuild mode if they decide to deal Melo, so it would be extremely short sighted to deny yourself the best return possible because you didn't want to strengthen a team from your conference.

Ignore the desperate attempts by Denver to drive up his value. Carmelo wants to play in LA or NY, and I'd be shocked if he went anywhere else.

    Knicks
    Nets
    Clippers
    Lakers

Where does Carmelo's wife want to live. That's the key to where Carmelo wants to play. I could be wrong, but I strongly suspect his wife is pushing him to play in NY or LA, because it will be good for "their" career.

Man, his wife needs to shut the eff up!

He's the one that's calling the shots, not her! Besides, she can always live in LA or NY. Melo can just visit them during the offseason.

Plus, I think lots of her friends live in Houston. Letoya Luckett, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce live here.

So what you're saying is that we should use most of our assets to trade with Denver and have Melo sign an extension with Houston.

Then right afterwards we should lowball him and send him packing for Cousins, Casspi and Landry. Or maybe some three team trade that lands us both Cousins and Favors.

    I can dream, can't I?

The wait is killing me! Just trade him to Houston where he has the best chance to win now. Sorry DD.

I agree. The wait is definitely draining. Especially if you're fasting. I just want to know at this point what direction they're going to go. I'm still satisfied if we do nothing though. Nice to be saving that money from Courtney Lee deal.
