If you were the commissioner

    If you were the commissioner what would you do? I would:
    Remove the defensive 3 second rule
    Institute a franchise tag(one year max. deal, can't be used on same player twice in a row, one per team per season)
    Force Dolan and Sterling out of power
    Move the Clippers

    Never going to happen, but widen the court by four feet. Two on each side.

    Get rid of this soft NBA.

    Shane Battier had some good ideas.

    I agree with the idea of contraction. The NBA needs to get rid teams like Memphis, NO, Charlotte.

    Hard cap where teams can only afford one max player so there is more parity.

    If I was David Stern I would give at lest one years suspension and $500,000.00 Fine each to Wade, Bosh and LeBron for an act of conclusion which was executed in an illegal part of the off season. They concluded to build an unbeatable team outside of the standard NBA regulations governing trades & Free agency. :p

    obviously some type of flopping rule

    i don't know about taking out the defensive 3 sec rule...maybe increase the time but i don't like campers...we clutchfans prob would want it gone only because of the slow footed big man

    i know its r****ded and will never happen but i've always wanted like a 4 point line lol :p ...like at the half court line as a desperation move.doesn't seem fair to me that those miracle half court/ full court shots only are 3

    Warning for flopping, then technical..basically same as soccer
    Travel and Palming enforced.
    More contact basketball, less soft fouls
    5 yr contracts max, with most contracts partially guaranteed or performance bonus like NFL.
    Increase to 14 players that can suite up, total roster spot to 17.
    Slowly adapt instant replay (Mavs Rockets Series)
    Lower Max contract value and average salary by 10% or so
    Start investment lessons for players!

    This! I can't stand Joey and Dick when they cover our games.. It's like going into a fight knowing you're gonna lose no matter what..

    Well... every season would be like an elimination season. The worst team each year gets killed. That should improve the amount of hustle we see in games...
