I completely disagree. When has Eddie ever shown the lateral quickness to guard a 3 or drive around someone to get to the basket? Eddie has great post moves, he just did not have the bulk in the paint to show them off last year. Mo has always had excellent lateral quickness and a tremendous first step to the basket. Griff played almost exclusively at the 4 and some at the 5 last year for a reason. BTW Clutch that reported during the Summer Pro Leagues that Eddie had put on 17 lbs of muscle. I would only add that Mo and Eddie might be interchangeable on offense to an extent because both can nail the outside shot and both can score in the post. I believe that Eddie has more post moves and Mo has a much better jump shot although Eddie has more distance and Mo has more muscle in the paint. The two could be a hell of a forward combo if Mo can shed enough weight to play the 3.
No it isn't. He doesn't get many defensive rebounds, either, and that has nothing to do with him shooting jump shoots.
Nothing wrong with playing Thomas at the 3 on defense & the 4 on offense. Taylor could do the reverse while on the floor together. Sorta like Cliff Robinson is a 4 or even a 5 sometimes on defense, but a 3 on offense with a tweener like Scorless Corliss doing the Thomas flip flop w/him.
