its crazy i helped clean up one of these houses once out here in so cal

there was a 1950s car (dont remember make/model) hidden under the ivy that just grew over it over the past decades.

the owner was too old to do anything but he had

canisters of mayonnaise from like 1940
other rations and items from the war all just lying open in his attice

the entire garage had newspapers from 1952 (when he moved into the house) till about 1978 with all sorts of rot and all on them.

the basement i have no idea what was down there we didnt have enough gas masks and i stepped down the steps a little bit and felt like throwing up.

i dont understand these people but somehow this guy live in all of this for the past decade...the city was forcing the cleanup otherwise they were gonna tear down the house as a public hazard

 

i saw something pretty much like that a few years ago when my step sister bought a house. the bathroom was the worst, it had mounds and mounds of of compacted used toilet paper. it was horrible.

I used to joke that I probably I had a corpse under my bed because it was so dirty.
