He definitely needs to shed the rust from his body. Yao has extremely good work ethic, so I have a great deal of faith in him. COME ON! LET'S TAKE HOME THE CUP AND PUT ON SOME RINGS!
Some good stuff there, I think SLAM has always been literary, with it's own flair. Yao was sort of the ultimate oddity to them. But once Yao came over here and established himself, he's had more control than the national/international media has recognized over his future. Yao has always deserved to be an all-star. He's just so cool that SLAM doesn't know how to write about him. They did a good job in their ignorance.
Not bad, but you would have thought they would reference Big Z and his comeback from the same surgery. DD
the 1.3 billion people in China don’t want to buy Chase Budinger jerseys? --- no, he is not going to Denver !!
Not yet at least... I say do not bring in Melo and hold on to the team as is. Chase knows what he's doing better than 13 year vets. It's obvious.
it's misleading. his hairline fracture doesn't require reconstructive foot surgery. the reconstructive surgery prevents his foot from injury again.
Does it look like Chuck developed a shot? His free throw shooting looks completely different than in a real game, and he actually made (2) in a row.
as much as i love chuck im so dissapointed he hasnt developed ANY kind of mid range shot to his game. i mean it would make him so much more valuable! just a little free throw line jumper please chuck!
A lot of writers compare Yao to big Z but big Z became a role player after he recovered. Would you be happy if Yao Ming recovered from injury with just Big Z's talent level?
The dude can't even hit his fts. How do you expect him to have a mid-range shot? With that said he and that other guy gave Yao a good workout. That fake at the start looked really good, and the white dude made a couple of fadeaways right in Yao's mug
pretty sure the injury required the surgery. from what has been reported, without the reconstruction the bone that has broken a few times would continue to break if the foot was not reconstructed. So yes....the hairline deal and the reconstruct are different but totally related
