Dirk,Gasol,Bosh,TD,KG,Amare,Lee,Aldridge,West,Boozer,Randalph,Jefferson,Josh Smith all have a better case than Scola.

You are asking too much out of some here. Them people start busting out "hahaha did not read" and "TL; DR" even on any post here longer than 3 paragraphs. Cannot expect their kind to actually read an article that discuss 10 players.

 

Not only do I think this post is greatly hilarious... but I am confused as to why one of our best members does not have at least 2 rep bars, which are the most important statistic Daryl Morey considers.

His top 10 has to include Randolph, Boozer, Josh Smith, and Jefferson. My guess is that he isn't going to consider Gasol a PF because Haslem above any of the previous 4 mentioned is ridiculous.

Troy Murphy over Scola does seem strange though. Murhpy did get plenty of rebounds but the rest of his team was pathetic at rebounding. He provides excellent range but at the same time isn't a great defender and did have some health issues.

Actually, thinking about it, it's reasonably even. Scola has a great mid range jumper and better post moves but Murphy stretches the floor better. Rebounding and defense are a wash. Scola flops better though.

You can't blame a guy if he picks one way on a toss up.

In 16 games spread in the month of March last season, Luis Scola averaged 20.5 points on 52 percent shooting and 10.5 rebounds. He also played 39 minutes a contest. And if he just approximates that run for most of 2010-11, than this 14th ranking will be a joke!!!!??!!!!

Kelly is just like anyone else, a basketball guy with an opionion, those rankings are meant to drive traffic, as long as they are well written, then the job is done.

How can you rank a player based on how many touches he will get? That ridiculous. If Scola ends up putting up same numbers as last season and Bosh ends up putting up the exact same numbers as Scola you'll still say he's much higher on the list since it's not his fault he gets fewer touches playing alongside Wade and James. Double standards.

 

For real just post the text in the actual thread so we don't have to go to the link and support this crap.

Hmm...I think Luis should be higher but Carl seems to ranked appropriately. I really like Carl but I don't think he would be playing the same if he were on a different team. Love them both though.
