    I think for like one or two days they should open the opposite bound side of the road for the people stuck in the traffic. People on the other side can take a different route for a couple of days. This is insane.

    A few months ago I drove from Vegas to San Diego and I was in gridlock traffic for all, but the final hour. The drive normally takes less than five hours, but that time it took over seven. I remember leaving Vegas thinking there was an accident that was the cause and that it was impossible to go on for long............I was wrong. :mad: Never again.

    Yes I know it is a cool story.

    But I do know that stuck in traffic for days would f'n suck...where's the bathroom? pop a squat?

    Do they literally stay awake driving the car or they just park on the side of road to sleep after a number of hours? Wow, this baffles me.

    I remember driving from Houston to Dallas during Hurricane Rita...

    I was in "traffic" for over 24 hours.... I think it took something like 26-28 hours. One of the most miserable experiences of my life. And I was driving stick.. That sucked big time....
