and speaking of the pixies i met them twice about 3 years ago when they first started touring again. my friend that does sound for eli young band did 2 shows of theres and i was very unimpressed with them. although i remain a fan, and have been a fan since about 8th or 9th grade. i challenge you to listen to some music with balls moes
You lose indie cred for "the pixies" -- It's just "Pixies" Also, I'm prone to speak in hyperbole. I DO think that Sufjan is probably the best pop songwriter alive though. For me, Illinois > Michigan > Avalanche > Seven Swans. A Sun Came, Enjoy Your Rabbit, and The BQE are just too different.

Most men don't have a say in the matter, but i know they have pills for that. Seriously though, i've been meaning to check out more of his stuff. Have any of you heard the Dark Was the Night compilation? He has a great song on there called You Are the Blood. The whole album is good. All the music that makes hipsters smirk.
