I was expecting a lot of illegal immigrants in the crowd, since they been portrayed as leeching the system.

The problem with government housing applications is that they have never actually run a business.

    Thats a great point.

If only the world of lawyers, big governments and big corporations could solve all our problems.

Entitlements gone wild! I'm glad you're starting to get on board with the effort Sam.

I don't know what you're implying. That I did it because its predominantly black people?

I don't blame the mice when they fight over the cheese thats left out.

I think that these welfare, housing, entitlement programs, while commendable in theory, have completely failed.

When people get more benefits and welfare checks the more children they have that doesn't teach people to use protection and not face the problems of having kids or letting men run off and not take care of them.

When people get government jobs that its virtually impossible to get fired from, people learn to be lazy and take the path of least resistance.

This is a problem of poverty and a government system that allows this, not about race.

We need government programs that enable people instead of disabling them which is what the system has become.

When a single mother makes more money or equivalent money staying home collecting welfare than having a job and paying day care the system is broken.

From my experience most recent illegal immigrants are damn hard working people. Its a question for me as these people don't expect anything and don't feel entitled here as their future generations do.

You go to any homeless shelters and majority are born and raised Americans. I see very few people during my volunteering that fit the illegal immigrant mold. I appreciate their work ethic though it is a dilemna about having illegals just come in as they please.
