Is Morey's package for Denver better than the Knicks' or Nets'?

They are just trying to get both players from New York if not three gutting their roster. Galinari would be too little to sell to the fans by himself. The fans would think of it as they got rid of Carmello for Galinari and EDDIE FREAKING CURRY! :grin: They are looking to get a few more guys from that roster if not all their good young players in exchange for Carmello if the knicks want the trade because they have no draft picks and basically couldnt have worse to offer other wise.

 

If we do not need to ship Martin or Brooks to get Melon. :grin:

Only chance the Knicks have at getting Carmelo is if they trade him straight up for Amare Or they gotta HOPE that the Nuggets don't trade him before the deadline therefore making him a free agent next summer to sign with them. If he gets traded before the deadline, odds are it'll be to the Nets, Rockets or some other team that hasn't been mentioned who will then resign him to a max contract (which would be worth more and for more years than he would get signing straight up with the Knicks). Knicks = Screwed.

Well, the pic is of him in MSG with the Rockets walking all over the Knicks home court. Kind of like what we did to their management by screwing them of their picks and assets. Lets the Knicks know he owned them

 

They traded their 2012 pick to us, and you can't trade first round picks in consecutive years.

Yeah, but I think that's largely in part because if they don't get him from the trade, they can sign him outright as an FA.

The Knicks own a first round pick in 2011 -- either their own or ours. The option of which pick is ours (unless it is the #1 overall), but if we take theirs, the Knicks get ours. It is a swap that we control.

 

If he signs with the knicks in the off season, he is going to have to sign for a lot less bc the new CBA would kick in
