I don't believe that matching up players by position is any kind of reasonable way to predict basketball, but we do have a chance to beat the Heat... it all comes down to Yao, which is why I can't bring myself to have that much hope. Glad that you do though. Oh, also, don't be so sure that Bosh beats Scola.
First of all the Lakers are still the best team in the NBA. So if we made it to the finals we must have beat them so if we did then yeah we can beat Miami. I personally don't think Miami will play chalmers or arroyo. I see them moving Wade to PG or Lebron. and starting Mike Miller. And in that sense we do not match up well. Can you imagine brooks trying to gaurd Wade? Yikes!

good point. Lebron and Wade will be playing a lot of point this year, which will create match up problems with every team. i disagreee. imo martin is better than bosh. and so is yao. but serioously, people underrate how effective martin is.
1.ok ok. just to get it this straight, if the heat were to face the lakers in the finals, i would cheer for the lakers, just for one reason. kobe. im not a lakers fan, im a kobe fan. 2. the heat wont make is all the way through. basketball is a team sport, eventually james or bosh will crack, cause all 3 cant keep their stats up, i know wade wouldnt mind, since its always going to be his team. the magic will take care of them. 3. i still think people underrate the rockets. we have a pretty deep team. a really deep team. all we need is chemistry and yao to stay healthy and we are a championship contender. i think that the rockets are a top 5 team in the nba, with magic, lakers, heat, and mavericks. if we face the heat in the finals, we can beat them, or just to make sure, someone can hit lebron in the ankle with a bat before a game, any volunteers?
lol I will get bashed for this but prior trading Ariza, I thought we had a better roster to match the heat............ Doesn't necessary mean we are better with Ariza, but it sure helps having a long defender who we already know can defend other wing players very effectively. I hear a lot about C.Lee, but until i actually see him play 82 games with the Rockets, I withhold any judgment thinking he is a better defender than Ariza.

I wish things were that simple .. Basketball is a team game last time I checked .. We havnt seen the Heat but Iam pretty sure they'll be one hell of a team ..
