Scola is VERY underrated and Bosh is very overrated... Scola is my FAVORITE rocket and one of my favorite people in the league (hard working, focused). And Bosh, well, let's just say I'm not too fond of the guy, AT ALL. But, even with all that said, as much as its hard to say that someone like Bosh is better than someone like Luis, cmon guys, he just is. If we actually had a chance to get him, then of course, I'm all for it. Let's not go too overboard.

My thoughts on Scola, sucks that they lost but, he had a good showing.

Llull is still overrated on this board IMO.

And on Bosh, well I point toward my signature.

I'm glad my limited Spanish skills were enough to read the box score. LOL

    Hell yes !!!

And we didn't even have to get a Toyota travel van to go to his house to sign him.

LOL - what's this thread about?

If Scola is better than Bosh, then stats indicate that he is also better than Yao in his PRIME. Homers will be homers i guess..

Scola might not be better than Bosh, but he is a hellava lot tougher than him.

Also, who knows what the issues are with Bosh's knees. Word is that he a T-Mac away from blowing out his knees.

Plus, Scola always works hard and never misses a game, unlike Bosh who apparently mailed it in 6 weeks left in the season.

The comment was that Scola is better than Bosh. Nobody implies that Brooks is better than Nash because his salary is smaller. Better value? Yes. Better player? No.

Bosh is overrated, I'm happy he didn't end up a Houston Rocket. I was one of the few around here that wasn't all that excited about the prospect of him ending up in a Rockets uniform.

He is a very good solid role player. He played in freaking Toronto and couldn't lead them to anything playing in the LEastern conference all those years.

I'll happily keep Scola and not cut into his minutes over adding an overpaid sidekick.

Scola hasn't missed a game in almost 2 and 1/2 seasons. Even blooded and half blind the dude played for us. I don't see how you can measure his heart and the effort he gives us on the court in those stats.

He doesn't care about some all-star game voting. He just plays the same way 1st game of the season and the last.

Bosh is a good player and all but if he ever comes to a sudden stop, some of you are going to know his colon better than his doctor!!!

Whare are you talking about, guys?

Bosh is a better overall player, period. You can see it in their stats. Now, Scola can and probably will be better than he was last year but Bosh RIGHT NOW is a better one.

As DD said, more teams would probably want Scola over Bosh, though. Why?
    1) He is cheaper
    2) He never gives up
    3) He can accept any role

I don't understand one fact. Few weeks ago everybody (all right, most of us) were saying how great Bosh is and how he could have helped us. Why hate him now? Because he signed with the Heat? Come on.

If Bosh wasn't better than Scola, Morey would have not tried to chase him. I'll take Morey's word over anyone else on this board. It was a win-win situation. If we got Bosh, GREAT. If not, we still have Scola and our core roster.

I don't see how you can't. If Scola didn't play with heart and effort, his numbers would be way crappier.

It doesn't matter how you achieve a result. If an average, incredibly studious and dedicated student got an 85 test score, while a bright but lazy student got a 90, the bright lazy student would still be better. Even if you may not like him as much.

Bosh is go-to guy at Toronto, so his number is Zoom in....

Scola is not "the guy" at Rockets, so his number is average...

But overall, Bosh is the better athlete, and Scola is the better teammate, and tougher contender

Bosh will never be the LEADER in the locker room that Scola is.

Listen back to the interviews Luis gave towards the end of last season. He was constantly harping hard work, hard work, hard work to our young guys. He is not only talk but he walks the talk. When the going gets tough, he gets tougher and won't back down. Those kind of guys--I'm glad they're on our own team.
