Think back to before the draft of 2001 and compare our rosters. What a difference!

We gained: Griffin, Rice, Yao, Nachbar, Brown, Torres, TMo, and possibly Maddox.

We lost: Anderson and Bullard. I can't recall some of the others.

We really didn't get to see what Rice may add, he never was healthy. And Yao, Nachbar, and Maddox have yet to play, that's exciting.

What a turnaround! What do you think?

You forgot the most significant one. Hakeem left last offseason as well.

our team is the best since we won a championship. We just need time to gel.

    Ricerocket,

My sig shows what line-up I want to see. They have the best upside.
    But, I'm really interested in Maddox as a backup. He's a big 6'4" PG/scorer.

Maddox never got the chance to show his skills because of that NCAA
    controversy.

I wonder what will happen if Maddox plays better than Norris and Brown.

Out of all of our draft picks, he's the most unknown; but with a great upside.
And, if he doesn't work out, no loss.

    Your right.

But this team has more individual talent than the 1994 team.

Chemistry and team play is all that is needed now.

I really like the direction the rox is going in and i feel good about this year. I didn't liek how hakeem left but that's the way it si and we have to move on. I think if rice gets healthy he would just as good as bullard or even with his 3pts accuracy so I like this squad better but i still wish hakeem was here:D

i would have liked it if dream stayed, but now there is no room for him. he should retire after this year.
