Can't say I find many of those foods appetizing.
The burrito perhaps.....but if I ate that, I would feel two things....regret and shame.
And I'm not from Texas....but even I was like....corn dog?

Ah, nothing like a legit New Jersey fat sandwich. Though I've had a lot worse than the fat darrell.

A corndog? It's a bare corndog with a mustard smiley face on it.

Even worse, Kansas gets credit for burnt ends. We're the masters of brisket, and Kansas gets a mention for brisket. And I'm sure they put that nasty sweet sauce on it, too.

NOOOOOO!!! For CA, they have In-N-Out's Double-Double!

During finals, I get one or two of those after every final. :(

If they don't want to use what Texas is known for in this article (BBQ, CFS, steaks, etc) and would rather use a novelty item, then by God, I give you Sodolak's Original Country Inn in Snook, Tx. - home of the chicken fried bacon. Check out Frank Sodolak, the owner at around the 0:49 mark. You know he's been eating his own product by the way you meet his stomach a day before the rest of him shows up :

I'm going to Snook to recruit people to raise hell about this corndog nonsense.

Corndog? Isn't there a chicken fried bacon at the TX state fair?

I think Minnesota got jipped too, a DQ Flamethrower burger?

It should've been either the Juicy Lucy (two burger patties with a piece of cheese cooked in between.)

Or the Mayslacks Original (Giant ass roast beef sandwich)

As for CA, an Inn and Out Double? I was at a place in San Diego last week that had a 6 egg omelet and a giant breakfast burrito.

WTH....none of those look appetizing and I've been in TX pretty much all my life and have never had a corndog.

This is even more ridiculous than the article itself.

I guess nobody's had a Fletcher's Corny Dog at the State Fair of Texas? The lines are insane for those things...

I had corn dogs when I was little...then moved to Dallas and went to the state fair and it's all about the corny dogs (saying corny is ghey btw)...that ***** is legit though, very very good...

but the f'n corndog doesn't represent Texas in any way shape or form...How about Brisket, Mexican food, Steaks...mother b*tches

Maybe a corndog (cornydog? Wtf....) is a legit Dallas thing, but that hardly makes it a legit Texas thing. That would be like naming James Coney Island for all of Texas in this stupid list.
