    Loved KD at UT.

    Cooled on him since.

Since Lebron and Kobe are impossible to root for. KD is now the man. The fact that he would do this summer league is awesome. The guy bleeds basketball.

Durant is Tmac with longer arms, a better shot, and most importantly heart.

Durant does have a young-prime Tmac thing about him.
But not quite as gifted and smooth. But still young, and developing?
    Yeah I know....you hate Tracy...blah blah.

I don't know. Tmac also had more hops, athleticism and passing ability.

    I don't get the T-mac comparisons.

    Durant is a better shooter

    McGrady is a better playmaker.

Both can score and that is the only thing that is similar about them.

McGrady never managed to score efficiently, except maybe in 02/03. Durant's scoring efficiency as reflected by his TS%, went from a below average .519 to well-above-average .577 to just plain elite .607, all while taking a huge number of shots.

McGrady is a better passer and racked up more assists, but if you are scoring as efficiently as Durant does, maybe it's logical not to choose to pass up too many shots.

Durant himself said he modeled his game after T-mac's...just say'n. Back when he played for UT he looked like a taller version of T-mac, now he's just better. I agree he doesn't have mcgrady's court vision.
