Are you kidding? Pay to get tricked into thinking there's actually inside info when it's published free online by your local paper?

    1. ~$8 million worth of TEs
    2. NY's next two lotto picks (yes, they still suck)
    3. Young expendable players : Pretty much everybody except Yao, Hayes, Battier, Jeffries, Miller, Martin, Scola
    4. ~$16 in expiring contracts : Battier, Jeffries, Hayes

Pretty obvious we're primed to land a superstar. The only thing that's keep drooling GMs from dealing with us is fear of being Morey'ed.

I don't know how espn can get away with posting local newspapers links as insider content. I get those links for free on twitter if you follow the writers who post links to their own stories.

That would be nice if this were true... but I think our team is good now. But it could be better...

yea, why settle? This team as it is would most likely reach WCF at best. With that one more superstar, a championship is a must.

Thats what I'm saying. Insider is local stuff reprinted. They quoted solomon as if he know from the inside. Of course Morey is going to make a run, any dumb ass can tell that by the way he is stacking alike pieces, but Denver will not deal melo in the same conference.

Oh lord, please us get Carmelo. Here's to hoping Denver has a terrible first half of a season.

Totally! Eventually Morey is going to have to fake his own death to get anyone to trade with us.

It will need to work like this if we're ever going to get a team to give us a star:

Fake Morey's death, hire Isaiah Thomas as a puppet GM, steal Melo and CP for Jeffries, NY draft picks, and a sack of dirty clothes then at the press conference Morey (in whom I trust) can step out from behind the red curtain and (BOOM!) the return of bloodninja!

I love being a Rockets fan.

The only thing I am worried about is Melo's desire to play here. I would hate to give up any assets just for a half year rental...

Why are you worried about it?

He's apparently turning down a 22 million/year extension offer from a team that's premiere out West. There's no "worrying" or "thinking hard" on this one, it's obvious. There's nothing that can hit you in the face harder.

New CBA, dismissing 22mil/year, great team in Denver, etc. He can't ask for a much better situation with all things factored. He's leaving, it's that simple.

Plus, Morey is getting us probably Iguodala more realistically. He's just waiting for Turner to push him out. There's an outside chance of Paul, real outside. But we have to wait. Honestly, it'll happen at the earliest in January. I hope sooner, but we'll see.
