Happened to come across the review of PDANet on CNET, and was just wondering if anyone has used this yet on an EVO. I know Sprint is very grabby about the pennies, and doesn't want to allow people to fully use their devices without paying an arm and a leg, so I was just curious if anyone was using it, especially with the Froyo update.

    Here is their website: http://www.junefabrics.com/android/index.php

    Thanks

I've used it on my jailbroken iPhone, with mixed results. It works, but sometimes tethering is just slow.

I use it on my droid every once in a while and it has never given me any problems. Speeds are decent enough to surf the web, check email and watch youtube videos. Verizon has never charged me anything for tethering.

I have used and its ok. I use Barnacle wifi tether. You can tether wirelessly without rooting.
