I agree that his PR has been bad this summer on how to handle certain things. I have always said that the 1 hour decision thing was pointless and that he should have just announced it like every other NBA superstar announces they are signing with a team.

I don't put him in the class with MJ or Kobe as far as career is concerned because he hasn't won anything which isn't his fault to me.

His supporting cast struggled in the playoffs, but I don't think it all on them. The biggest reason why I don't think the Cavs could win a Championship for the last few years was because of their coach Mike Brown. I just don't think he is a Championship coach with his offensive philosophy. He fails to adjust in the playoffs when teams figure out his offense which is to basically give it to LeBron in isolation. Teams with a good defense will adjust to that type offense come playoff time.

I do agree about Mike Brown. He's a great guy but he tries to mirror what Greg Pop does in SA. San Antonio has the benefit of having guys that are two way players. You can't put LeBron in isolation in the playoffs. You can work the pick-n-roll but that's different.

The team as a whole struggled through the playoffs. Barkley said it best and I do agree with him on this statement, "LeBron doesn't make his teammates better" and it's true. LBJ has the skills but he isn't a leader.

He will always get critisized now going to join a top 3 player in the league that is a proven winner vs winning titles with the franchise that drafted him as the hands down man.

I understand people hating the way he left, but I can't understand not anticipating watching these guys play together. I personally can't wait.

Poor poor baby....leaving his crib where he has been adored for years and making a man sized decision by going somewhere else and he can't handle the criticism.

Poor baby........we are all just witnesses !

    Hypothetical:

    The Heat win a championship.
Lebron wins regular season and final MVP.

What's the reaction of the general NBA fan base? Are they pissed about how he got a ring, or do they start to "forget" about this offseason?

    I honestly have no idea.

I can't wait to see them play.

I just don't get it why ESPN is still all over Lebron. He is a Robin now. This is a fact. Whether you scream hater or lover at each other, he is a a sidekick.
    ESPN should be about Batman.

This bull**** on 'taking mental notes' might mean that he started to doubt.

not hating.. He's a great player any Rockets fan would love to have him on the team. But Jordan, Kobe he is not. That just isnt his character and I think that is proven and clear by now.

he's still Robin. those stats anyone can get if they play with 2 stars. everything should be discredited about lebron's achievements from now on. it's TOO EASY now.

I have no problem with that at all, he should do whatever he thinks is right for himself.

But he has to have thicker skin and realize that he will take heat for his decisions, especially after he quit against the Celtics.

Lebron is an amazing talent, but his head seems to not be so much about winning......

He seems to be more about the fame, than anything...same with Bosh....
