Good for him and wish him the best...I hate that I'm stuck with Tmac jerseys, but hey, it is what it is...

That's good that his teammates are accepting him on the team. The last thing T-Mac needs is more drama in his life.

He's just saying the nice thing. If he really did well in workout, for minimum? You take the chance.

    McGrady is #1 again!!!! lol

Na but seriously with the signing does anyone know if he'll be #1 again because #3 is taken by Stuckey?

Does he have to fill out those papers to change his number again or since his number is taken does he have a choice in what number he'll wear?

I don't understand why he would be interested in saying the nice thing when it benefits him in no way whatsoever...especially when other reports were indicating that Tmac did not work out so well for the Bulls.

Even if he did have a good workout and appeared like a contributor (obviously not the Tmac of old), it's evident that his attitude is what didn't get him the bulls' job.

Most of us would have to work for 20 years just to be worth the "small" amount of money he is being paid this season.

No he would have to say something when asked about the situation clearly the Bulls had shown interest at one point with McGrady and even their star guard was asking about the possibility. If Paxson said nothing it would just look bad on him, something had to be said and he took the high road out saying it just wasnt a fit with the vision/plan they have for the team.

Throwing T-Mac under the bus doesnt help the Bulls at all and Paxson and the Bulls have an image to maintain so buy saying nothing (which will be then inferred to be negative) or saying something negative the image of the Bulls front office will be dinged (even further) Paxson along with every other GM would say something along those lines if anything just to maintain their image.

Even if everyone and their grandma can read between the lines its expected for team officials to always take the high road and give their own "spin talk"

IF he believed T-mac was healthy, why wouldn't he grab a player for the minimum that can push them to the next level and get a ring.

Saying the nice thing makes him look better to other free agents than saying the wrong thing like Dan Gilbert. The Cavs can't even get cheap free agents to play for them, after his antics.

did he have to say tracy "turned the corner physically?" that bit was unnecessary. he could have simply said tracy did well and ended on that note.

tmac wanted a starting role from the get go. and we all know he's a type of player that most likely wouldn't mesh well with derrick rose since both need the ball to be effective. and tracy is slower, and won't be able to handle the fast pace the bulls are aiming for.

this is the bulls' biggest season to date since MJ. i'm sure paxson wants everything to go according to plan.

if tracy accepted a bench role, he would have been signed with the quickness.

the cavs couldn't get good free agents to play for them when lebron james was there, let alone his antics.
