I had my three-month eye exam recently and my doc confirmed I had 20/20 vision! Getting the "lasik" laser eye surgery was one of the best thing I've ever done! I was just as hesitant and scared as anyone would have been contemplating it, but I finally just went and had it done. Now, three months later, I have NO regrets at all! Anyone else had it done or thinking about it? It's a BIG individual decision, but for me, it was well worth it! :D

I've been thinking about it for a while. However, I have some eye complications that require other surgery some day. I've been putting it off for years, but my doctors say it should have been done when I turned 18! oh well, as long as I don't get hit directly in my right eye, I won't go blind! :(

I just recently quit working for Eyemasters. One of my last customers had the lasik surgery and they completey F'd up. Not only did his vision get worse, but they also scratched his cornea.

I am glad that your surgery was successful and I know you will enjoy the good vision. But its not permanent. Nothing stops you from getting older and developing presbyopia(the need for a bifocal). My strong opinion would still be to correct your vision with glasses or contacts without taking the RISK of completely getting screwed.

Yeah, it's very important which doctor you choose. Be very cautious of cheaper lasik surgery deals. Remember: "You get what you pay for."

Yeah, my doctor told me about needing reading glasses as I get older. Nothing you can do about aging!:) But for the present and beyond, I'm very happy with my results!

Depends on how bad your eyes are. My eyes were pretty bad,
a -7(whatever that means), according to my optometrist. Anyway, my total price including pre-surgery consultations and examinations & one year follow-ups post-surgery was $3,500. Yeah, it's kinda pricey but I finally found a doctor I was comfortable with and had an outstanding reputation. I was able to afford it, so I decided to go with him.

I'm glad that your surgery went well. I'm thinking about getting it done, but I'm scared something very bad might happen. Maybe I can go to the same surgeon you did?
