Do you think Josh Smith could fit with the Rockets and fill our defensive void?

Mike Miller avg for 2009- 2010: 11ppg, 6rpg, 4apg (shooting .500 from the field, .480 from the 3)-- Oh, he will be coming off the bench this season as well.

How do you suggest a bench player with that type of production is overrated?

I like the idea of adding Prince, but I honestly don't think this trade is that much of an upgrade. Ok, Battier is losing a step and Prince is better on the offensive side ... but I don't think DM would pull the trigger on this one.

I would love to add Wallace! The guy is a beast on offense and defense!

If NO gets Bosh they will have the best frontcourt behind LA and Houston, in the West.

NO is not going to allow a divisional rival to acquire a superstar player at the expense of giving up their superstar player. The Kings could give NO more young and cheap talent than Houston: Landry, Thompson, Casspi and Greene with a good mix of veterans like Udrih and Garcia, or Dalembert's $13 million expiring contract with a long term cheapy like Whiteside who has huge potential.

I didnt make that trade evolution. Your reply seemed as though as you misread the others intention. I was only stating what he wrote.

Also, on note, I think going to the Kings would be awesome. All the other youngin's would be awesome with Paul.

I take back what I said about bosh-paul-orleans 3 way, theres no way in hell bosh wants to play in houston, so even if lebron wants bosh gone, it would involve someone that bosh can get his fame/brand/exposure...knicks,bulls,lakers.....

so yeah, i was smoking something when i said we can get bosh, no way in hell....besides, after seeing him give head to lebron and wade this summer, i dont want him on this team. if i wanted to watch a girl play pf, then id recommend morey get a hooters girl to backup scola, not get that 7 foot tall ugly chick named bosh

Ariza is a scrub, a borderline NBA player,

    signed,

    DD

ps. Before anybody think the above was not a joke, I agree with everythying you said Bima. Througout last season, there have been posters that have been riding Ariza real hard, not quite understanding he was playing out of his natural position. Once Martin was onboard and Ariza was back at sf, he was able to flourish with near all star stats towards the latter part of the seasob.

Personally, I would be on the phone with Rich Cho trying to facilitate some sort of Jordan Hill for Greg Oden swap.

Cho is a brand new GM with absolutely no ties to Oden or the decision-making process that brought him to Portland.

I realize there's a large salary discrepancy between the two players, but if you can sell Hill as the base of the package and fix the rest with sweeteners it might be enough to get the job done given Oden's well-documented durability issues and eligibility for a contract extension.

Hell, even with the latter in mind I'd still take him in a heartbeat. I really think he's THAT much better than Hill.

    A lot of guys would.

Actually, Oden would seem like Morey's kind of guy to bet on if available-- hugely productive in, so far, limited minutes. Not sure if Portland is ready to give him up yet, though.

Two guys I'd keep an eye on: Nash and Billups. If the Suns fall back into lotto territory, I wonder if he'd want to leave and the Suns would be ready to start a youth movement. If Melo leaves Denver, I wonder who else would be made available with the owner's son now taking over.

Very true. I didn't mean to sound like Captain Obvious or anything, just saying when faced with the proposition of dealing a seemingly more durable young prospect for a much more injury prone young prospect I'd still take Oden (and whatever else it costs) any day of the week.

Nash, for sure. Although, it seems like we see the same song-and-dance with him every year.

Before the season starts ----> Should Phoenix deal him? Will Phoenix deal him?

Midway through the season ----> Wait a minute, the Suns aren't half bad. Keep him!

End of the season ----> Postseason failure. Repeat cycle.

I'm comfortable enough with Brooks/Lowry to not worry too much about possibly missing out on the Nash Sweepstakes (should it ever come to fruition).

As for Billups, I have a hard time seeing Denver dealing him as long as Melo is still in the picture. It goes without saying that he's always been their stabilizer and will remain a necessary piece as long as the Nuggets have a snowball's chance of making noise in the WC. I guess we'll see how the Melo situation plays out, though.
