i remember the night they debuted it on 101X here in Austin... little 13 year olds were calling the station saying how great the song was and asking who the singer was... i was in my car when I heard the song and the following ruckus and nearly swerved off the road in laughter! shamefully, i have an mp3 of that song in my music library on my computer.

Alicia Keys. I don't really think her songs are deep or meaningful, but the girl has some pipes. I love the raspyness of her voice. self imposed indie cred -1.
