My best polo lacks a logo. I bought it at Macy's a few years ago for like $30, but the tagless tag has long worn off and I am not sure which company made it. I've owned a lot of crappy polos, so I am not going to just buy and try.
It may sound weird, but Costco's Kirkland brand makes these organic cotton polos that are SO soft and comfortable and they keep their shape/color really well. The problem is that they are cut really weird. I normally wear a Large, but the Medium in these is actually big on me in the shoulders but ok in the waist... it's odd. I may go buy a Small today and see if it fits.
I have found a lot of the cheaper no name brands are pretty soft and because they are so soft, they run a little big. I too wear a large, but tend to get mediums of those types of shirts. That being said there are plenty of polos with logos that are very comfortable
There is no better Polo than a Ralph Lauren classic fit mesh shirt. Great fit, great material, and a timeless shirt that will never go out of style.
Yeah, they're sizing/cut is really strange. I just bought some plain crew neck white and black tees from there. The mediums were good at the shoulders, but tight on the waist. And they are LONG as hell, like some Tall Tees The shirts are a nice material and very thick though so I like them. Great price too.
You should probably specify whether you want something casual or something you can also use as business casual
Not sure if I heard it here or somewhere else, but they said the Polo is the mullet of shirts. You can wear it on the weekends and be fine, and you can wear it to work and be fine.
Nothing compares to a Lacoste polo, fit or material IMO. Sure, it is a little pricey, but it is not like I get new polo shirts all the time. Usually a couple of new ones every year, at the most.
I like Lacoste polos....but you have to make sure and get a size that is fitted. Some people wear them to baggy and I don't think it looks good. Also, in my experience they tend to run a little big....so get a size below your normal.
I'd say Polo. But I can't stomach the price so I haven't bought one in years. My wife buys me Sonoma polos from Kohls that are very solid, keep their color, have a good fit and resist bacon collar well. Less than $20.
yeah for the most part they'll work either way...but there's some that are too casual to wear to work if you need something business casual. I'm not sure what's the criteria is here though, so i think it depends on where the OP is wearing it to.
Macy's has Polo brand on sale for $15-$25 all the time. I just bought a polo from Kohl's it was as expensive as name brand stuff I buy at a department store.
Lacoste is too thin for my likings. I think my favorite has to be Vineyard Vines.. I love how they fit/look.
Uh no. My wife bought me 3 or 4 or them a few years back and they all fell apart. They suck and are way uncomfortable.
