Video of Yao Ming working out last week in Taipei shooting baskets on the court. Yao Ming is shown in the video in his first public practice on a basketball court since having his walking boot removed. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4FcNGovnqo&feature=youtu.be
I was just happy to see him jumping when he shot, i don't know why I thought he never jumped when he would shoot.
A little rusty with the shot, but its been a while. He'll get that rhythm back. The foot looks great, he was moving loose on it, seemed fine.. but then again it always looks fine before it gets injured.. We didnt really learn anything from this vid, other than his shot still isnt too bad. The foot can only be judged when we see the big fella on the court in NBA action...
MPG: 31 - Yao 36 - Scola 35 - Ariza 37 - Martin 36 - Brooks ------- 21 - Lowry 16 - Battier 14 - Hill 12 - Miller 12 - Budinger 6 - Hayes 5 - Taylor
Yeah I just rewatched the first game of the Portland series to compare his form and lift. His form seems to be just fine, but I just hope that he has the same lift when he jumps or fades away as he did back then.

I am sorry, but you want only 12 minutes for CHase and only 14 for Hill? You know what, that's silly cause Chase at this point is more valuable player than Trevor is, and he should play more. Look at DD's signature
Rough estimate of course, given I you can't see the basket on many of the shots. Plus certain parts are zoomed in on Yao, and can't tell by the noise after the shot. But I roughly counted that he made somewhere in the 50's... and misses somewhere in the 30s. Not to bad. I could be off though......it's really early right now.
Yao's going to be in the mid 20's I think, while Miller will be up in the 20s. I also think there will be a little less Ariza and Battier, more Bud.
