My friend, who I shall refer to as my friend "jake", allowed me to use his internet account, actually he has all most all of his friends to. Well, this has gone for two years coming new year's, and lately I've been the only one on the most. "jake"s friend gave him the password to an unfiltered ISP account so he isn't on his account. Well, the isp called my house today asking if "jake" was there. So now the ISP knows i am using the account, do you think they'll press charges? Right now my friend is letting me use his account since "jake"s is down until he pays. So am I in deep trouble? Also admin's don't report this ISP to them.

I think I am in trouble...

Wasn't that the chorus to the classic song, "Trouble" by Lindsey Buckingham??:D

Sorry, I couldn't pass that one up.

Back to your situation, I don't know what to tell you. Are you sure that being on his account is going to cost you money??

I am surprised that you were able to stay as long as you could on his account if it wasn't free.

Dude, I had this happen to a very close friend of mine and they fined him $5,000 and he had to spend six months in jail.

Azadre, you're in serious trouble, dude. You're 14 or over, right? They prosecuted a guy about 4 months ago in the Fumen vs. AOL case where Fumen was incarcerated for 6 months. Damn dude, you should've thought about this before you did it. Your friend's in even more trouble. :(

I guess I'm the only one who can't decipher what he's saying here...

from what I can understand, it seems you used your friend's ISP account and got a call for your friend fromt he ISP? What's wrong with using a friend's ISP account and password to connect to the Internet when your friend allows you to use it??

I must be missing something here, I guess I'm just dense.

ok, let me get this straight...

You are connecting to the internet over your friend's account?..
and he hasnt paid his bill? or is this "account" of his technically a unbilled account?

if ya have been using an dialup that is not a "real" account...then I would think that yes, you are in trouble.

If you were using an account that he registered for and allowed you to use...I dont think their beef would be with you..but with your friend.

But I'm unclear on *exactly* what you mean so its hard to say...

I think quite a few people are F-ing with you. You're fine. He's the one that violated their agreements, billing, etc. Don't worry. Feign innocence. Claim he told you it was alright to use the account.

That muthafucca is going out on a full stomach!

P.S.- where in the hell did you find that site? I'm scared to death of the letters T, D, C, and J in that sequence.

wow, interesting site... some of those people planned to put back quite a bit of food on that final day! there was even one guy who requested "Justice, Equality, and World Peace"... hmm, guess he should have thought about this before committing whatever awful crime put him on "tha row." This was a wierd one too: "None. Last minute he decided to eat a hamburger at his Mother's request."

It's an awesome site. It's a shame that as taxpayers in the state of Texas we have to fund that sort of nonsense, but the comic relief the sight provides is worth it for me. My all time favorite was "1 bag of assorted Jolly Ranchers".

keep in mind they order that stuff from a menu (you could probably tell because the same items and quantities are often repeated) and they don't always get what they request.

Azadre- if push comes to shove, couldn't you just say that you're friend was using his account whenever he came over to your house?
