OK, I did some research... apparently we had him on our team I was wondering why this was in the GARM... anyway, we traded him for a second rounder? That was nice... OK but seriously, I thought he was an aright situational player, when we needed to get a shot and stretch the d. That LA game was fun to watch... and he wouldn't really back down, seemed like a good guy too. It's like some people expected too much, which is why they didn't like him, but I expected just what we got. A rookie from Australia that did what he needed to do at times, was inconsistent and a little uncoordinated, but NBA style is different. Rebounding and defense was weak, but it'll come as the time goes. IF, he hasn't gotten tired of the NBA and taken the easy way out to go and be the best big man in Australia.
I always thought he looked like a r****ded Brad Pitt, but the girl I was dating at the time said he was better looking than Brad Pitt. I guess that's it.
That time he gave up And1s on 3 consecutive possessions for the opposing team. I had never seen that happen before. My second favorite moment was when I realized he looked like a cross between Fry from Futurama and Chris Kattan.
Whereabouts in Aus are you from Aussierocket? i'm from melbourne and rockets fans are rare down under.
My favorite memory of him is not having a memory of him at all...... Im just kidding, David was a professional and it was nice having a good decent season with him. He didn't cause any disruption with the team but came out and play his best every time he's on the court. Good Luck to you David Andersen.
Is this the game when Lowry was killing the Mavs at their home court with all kinds of shots, including 3's?
