Not really interested in the game, but the trailer is freaking awesome. <embed src='http://screencrave.com/wp-content/plugins/flash-video-player/mediaplayer/player.swf' height='320' width='570' allowscriptaccess='always' allowfullscreen='true' flashvars="&file=%2Fvod%2Fscvideos.frsucrave%2Fdcuniverseonline.mp4&plugins=viral-2&streamer=rtmp%3A%2F%2Fvod01.netdna.com%2Fplay&type=video"/>
That look freaking great. I wonder if Blur Studio work on that since they did an awesome job for Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I'm still waiting for them to do a CGI superheroes animation with this kind of quality.
I agree. I don't know why they don't pull the trigger on a good CGI comic movie. I guess it's cheaper on the DC side to get Brucec Timm to keep pumping out hand-drawn movies.

This would be way cheaper than a live action movie with these kind of destructions. But the problem will people come to see it in theatres and watch a CGI animation? I think if they have Disney and Pixar backing them up they should be doing fine. Talking about Disney. They own Marvel right? When the hell are they going to force Pixar to make a computer animated movie(s) base on one of Marvel superhero?
I almost posted this last week when it came out. But, I didn't think many people would be intersted in an mmo trailer. I literally watched it a half a dozen times. I'm still not intersted in playing their mmo (I am not thrilled with the console dual release.) But, it did make me give it a 2nd thought. For a completely different reaction, go watch 38 Studio's latest trailer release. DC's trailer completely outclasses it on every level. (Skeletons being stabbed by a sword in a trailer is always a bad idea.) And yes, I'd watch this movie at a theater. At least twice. In general I dislike DC comics, but this was amazing enough to overcome my prejudice. Two nerd thumbs up!
I would definitily watch this movie in a theater , home, cave, restroom, sewer, coffin , etc!! THAT WAS AWESOME !! I really like the violence in it...dont hold back just because its a "cartoon". Man I loved that . I wish they would do full length movieS
I don't understand what was going on in that trailer, but it was sure awesome to look at. Count me in with those that think they should make it a feature-length movie. Comics translate better to animation than live action anyway. So studios might as well put the time/resources into creating an epic CG movie instead.
the way movie are now a days, its all CG anyway. They could do a really good movie like this if the got the right writer to flesh out a more adult theme story
Well, it looked a bit like the animated 'Crisis on Two Earths' movie, the Justice League one that came out recently, where Luthor comes to our Earth from an 'alternate reality' where he was one of the good guys, and the 'Supers' were corrupt bad guys bent on world domination. Lots of similarities.
