Yeah I remember hearing that Jeter committed 56 errors in A ball.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part but it doesn't seem like anyone has been able to lock down any names consistantly except Haap.

Roy, I'm sorry -- now I realize why it took you so long to OK the trade.

"Drayton.. are you SURE you want to trade me for that? I mean, I can say no, we can keep looking.. are you SURE you want to do this deal?"

Very underwhelming deal from the looks of it. Not surprising. The jury was still out for me on Wade and this hurts him. More terrible management.

Good luck to Roy-O, I hope he gets a ring. I hate to see him go but I'm tired of being disinterested in the Astros. My favorite pitcher to watch of all-time.

    Well start the bashing.

Ken Rosenthal not the only one reporting it now.

if the astros are indeed throwing in $11 MILLION along with their GREATEST pitcher in astros history and do not walk away with at least one BONAFIDE stud prospect something is seriously wrong.

Man, this deal looks bad. JA Happ IS the main guy coming back to us.. :(

No Cosart? No Singleton? No Mathieson? We were all talking about maybe getting 2 of the Phillies top prospects, we didn't even get 1.

Man Wade and Uncle D suck camel dick. Seriously... This is why I don't really follow the Astros anymore. They need a new owner and GM.

Truthfully, I don't know anymore about any of these prospects than what I've read from hsf09 and rox934life, so I'll withold judgement. I didnt' know who Singleton was before this week, much less Gose or Villar.

If they are the prospects coming back, let's hope we can flip some of our other aging vets for additional prospects to soften the blow a bit. But like I said, I can't get too mad yet when I really didn't know any of these guys to start with.

perhaps, but you CAN get mad at the fact that we gave the phillies a top-tier pitcher + $11M to help pay for him and couldn't even manage to snag one of their top assets in return.

Man, if Singleton ends up being the next Eric Anthony, the Astros are going to look awful!!!!

This. Yeah, it's one thing not to pony up the money and not get top prospects but a WHOLE different story ponying up 11 million without gettign a top prospect back.
