    Pretty meaningless for a SS that just turned 19 in A ball. We had this discussion here before in regards to Meir. Some of the top SS's in the game started out much the same.

    If he's in the the deal (and he is actually Villar), what does it mean for Meir?

    So, Jiovanni Mier is hitting .221 at Salem. A poor man's Adam Everett? Or an even poorer man's Tommy Manzella? Sheesh.

    so the third player ended up being worse than expected. i'm in disbelief. i hope the reports are all wrong. why would rosenthal know before the rest of the world.

    I didn't think we could do any worse than the D'backs did in the Haren deal, but apparently we have if Ken Rosenthal is correct (for once).
