In the first date the man always has to pay, then in the 2nd, you can pay, and if she wants to leave the tip or paying for the parking or something, she can do it, then in future dates, they can share the tab. I think thats the fair thing to do.
I'm actually a big fan of asking her to make a token contribution like this. I'll either pay for dinner and have her pay for drinks, or I'll pay for the event we are doing (e.g. surfing) and have her pay for a snack/dessert (e.g. ice cream at coldstone). My question is: has anyone ever had a girl, whom you had already not gone on multiple dates with, actually ask you out and then pay for the full date? I would say I go on an above average number of dates, and I have NEVER had this happen. I've had girls say, "We should grab dinner/lunch/go out sometime/do X activity", but more often than not it still ends up falling on me to set up the actual logistics of it all. And in the handful of times the girl has set up a concrete date and taken care of the logistics, I've never seen her reach for the check or say it was her treat. The most I've gotten is split checks. I date mainly girls in their young 20s, so maybe they are just not confident enough/too poor/too immature to make ask for the date and offer to pay. I'm legitimately curious to hear other guys' experience with this.
At first before I started going out with my girlfriend I used to pay for most of the ****....now that we've been "official" for almost 2 years, we split everything striaght down the middle !
Don't let it get you down. Half the doods giving advice in this thread are the same ones that spend their weekends playing video games and masturbating. Seriously, there ARE guys out there that still "court" women (if they're actually worth courting). I know that sounds crazy after reading through this thread, but most of it is just fake bravado from a bunch of horny internet-p*rn addicts.
Two general rules: - Guy always pays for the first date.* - After that women can if they ask.* However, being ok with paying or not all depends on if you go home happy or not. For example, if you got some on date #3 then I doubt spending that $120 would have hurt as much.*
Dude, she's probably a dog anyway . You have better chances in real life. Plus, there's only like 3 and a half girls on here.
Where do you take girls? Mcdonalds? A movie and dinner is easily 60 bucks without drinks. I'd say $200 for three dates is getting off light.
