I'll go with collison by a slim margin because he has height and is not as skinny as brooks and is not as much as a defensive liability as brooks is either

If Collison replaced Paul, the Hornets wouldn't have finished 8 games under .500

There is NO WAY we resign yao to a max... if we resign him at all. Hopefully he is healthy enough to play more seasons so we do resign him, but even then it won't be for the max..

Comparable guys who play pretty much the same position.

You have to go with the guy who has had more success on the higher level and that is Aaron Brooks.

Aaron Brooks has established himself as a legit NBA player who may have some star (probably not all star) potential. Collins is just a rookie who had one good season. Who knows what can happen, he might regress.

    Advantage: Brooks

    I think AB is better.

That being said, I voted for Collison thinking of a trade. New Orleans has to make trades to make CP3 happy, so one low risk gamble for them would be AB. I think he would it nicely with them.

How about AB for Collison + 1st round pick?
AB + Hill for Collison + David West?

You figured out a 6 option poll for a Darren Collision vs Aaron Brooks argument? Genius!

Want run for the president of United States?

Chillax man.. just wanted to see what everybody thinks instead of just yes he's better. There are different opinions on these guys as you can see some think they can't even be compared..

a lot of people who don't pay attention at all to games at all.

i can distinctively recall Rockets losing to the Hornets because Collison was giving Brooks huge problems. and he does this without a bad-ass collection of supporting cast like Brooks does.

both players are growing, but it narrows down to this:

would you trade Brooks for Collison?

your obvious answer would be yes (for some, after a little bit of research). he can do a better job than brooks at his position. unfortunately, Collison will never be available for a trade.
