I have a question for you Clipper fan, do you think the Clippers have a shot at the playoffs this year?

No, i don't think the Clippers can make the playoffs as their roster consists of a past his prime PG, a solidly good center, role players, and a bunch of talented but underdeveloped kids...

No offense, but I hope you're right. I'm really hoping that Clippers second rounder is in the mid- to late 30s. The Rockets have the right to swap second round picks with the Clippers next year, from the Steve Novak trade a couple years back.

The pick should be in the mid thirties...

It took me almost 20 seconds before I remembered Lebron isn't in Cleveland anymore, therefore making all Cavs related trades meaningless.

Nice inventory list on owed picks. i just learned that the Clippers own the Pistons 2nd round pick for 2011. The Pistons are probably going to suck next season and thus that will off-balance the pick swap with the Rox...

So all the Wolves could get for Sessions was Sebastian Telfair? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Kahn is pulling out all stops to cement himself forever in basketball folklore as the most notoriously inept GM the league has ever seen.

Let me get this straight. You traded Sessions and Hollins, and all you got back was Telfair? AND you gave up a pick too?

That's the part that gets me. He gave up a pick!

Are you doubting Kahn's master plan?

    Step 1: Collect PGs
    Step 2: Collect PFs
    Step 3: ???
    Step 4: PROFIT!!

best case scenario: Wolves waived West, Heat picks West up cheap.

I agree, Kahn is a loser ... Very good trade for the Cavs!
Sessions and Hollins are very good potential players, IMO ... maybe all-stars within 4 years.

How did Kahn become the GM of an NBA team? Is he the son of someone powerful?

I think you missed the part where Minnesota saves about $14.4M over the next three seasons.

People, please take a moment to look at ALL angles of a trade before passing such harsh judgment. Seriously, I think people nowadays just see the words "David Kahn" and "trade" in the same sentence and immediately lash out against Kahn.

Other than taking Wesley Johnson over Demarcus Cousins in the draft (and perhaps overpaying a bit for Darko--yes, I said "a bit"), I honestly think that Kahn has made some pretty good moves this offseason.

Johnson over Cousins and signing Darko were Kahn's biggest moves. Not to mention adding Ridnour. All this trade here is about is hiim erasing his mistakes from last season. He'll be shoveling out Ridnour and Darko next season for expirings if he can find them.

Damn Sebastian it wasn't too long ago when you were hyped up as the next great PG from NY.
