Argentina is going to look really bad if they don't win the gold medal. They just might do it though.

Nobody. US played a very poor game...Argentina has a good skilled team and played a great game. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I swear, some of those Argentian guys amazed me with their quickness. One of the guys would leave Baron Davis in the dust like he was a slowpoke. These Argentinian guys were not scrubs.

U.S. did not send their best this time. This is why I am not that surprised of this poss. This may force the best players to play for the national team next time.

This team is an absolute embarrassment to our country. They are a bunch of thugs that deserved to lose to a team that is simply better than they are. Jermaine O'neal's stomping on the man who just stuffed the crap out of him was definitely the low point of this game. Baron Davis not even paying attemtion on defense in the first half when his man ran behind him and scored a layup was a close second.

Kobe?? AI?? Are you happy now???? I guess you two are just too good for your country.

After looking at this US Team roster, only four of these guys were on NBA All-Star teams last season. Stu Jackson is a genius.

    E. Brand: All-Star
    A. Davis
    B. Davis: All-Star
    M. Finley
    R. LaFrentz
    S. Marion
    A. Miller
    R. Miller
    J. O'Neal: All-Star
    P. Pierce: All-Star
    B. Wallace
    J. Williams

    hahahhaha

What a joke of a team.

The epitome of one who doesn't care. Where is the motivation? I was so happy to see these selfish "me first" players lose. USA or not.

Please go back to college players, so I know that we have guys who care.

And if China had dropped the US the Rocket bandwagon would have never let it die.

The U.S. has gotten too cocky the last couple years. Ya we have the best players in the world, but I think the U.S. just got too cocky this time.

by the way: we did send the best players possible , but even with this team, we still should have beaten everyone.
