so i just bought a netbook and installed firefox. When watching youtube, the videos are fine in FF but they're choppy in IE. What gives? Thanks in advance.
Because certain browsers are better coded than others. Since you're using a netbook it's going to be even worst. YouTube is CPU power hungry. If you're going to add extensions and add-ons onto FF. Your Google map is going to slow down to a crawl on FF but that's also depend on your CPU. 1.33 or 1.6 isn't fast enough if that is your processing power.
Has nothing to do with what you're saying. It works on FF and doesn't on IE, yet FF is much more memory hungry... see: Spoiler my guess would be you have a newer version of Flash on Firefox than IE. Youtube will run equally on both browsers.
