With the cancellation of X-Files and Dark Angel, I'm gonna have to find other shows to occupy my time. Looks like there are going to be lots of crappy ones coming out. Which do you think may turn out to be good ones? Here are some I'm going to give a chance, they seem like they could be decent shows: 1. Firefly on FOX 2. Push, Nevada on ABC 3. American Dream on NBC
anyone seen that new show "The Rerun Show"... the premise seemed like a great idea... but the implementation is awful... Their "Saved By the Bell" skit was just plain awful! edit: don't foget, "The Sopranos" starts 9/15... I've been waiting too long for that day!
I like the looks of the show "Hack" with David Morse-- about an ex-cop turned vigilante taxi driver. I, too, am looking forward to "American Dream." Ain't that a pair!!
FOX Firefly looks so-so, I probably won't watch it. John Doe, Fastlane and the Grubbs look promising on Fox. I am also looking forward to Cedric The Entertainer Presents and the second season of the Bernie Mac Show. ABC Push Nevada and MD's(Meds) look ok. I will check them out. I am not sure about 8 Simple Rules for dating my teenage Daughter. CBS They pretty much suck, the old people network. Hack does look pretty good though. NBC Hidden Hills, American Dreams and Boomtown(from some of the same guys that did Band of Brothers) look pretty interesting. UPN The Twilight Zone with Forest Whitaker could be ok. WB Do Over looks good - I will watch this show. I am pumped about Sunday Sept 15th - The Sopranos The NFL is starting The NBA is getting close 24 - Season 2 is right around the corner The Shield - Season 2 is coming in January. Time to make my a$$ groove.
I'm really looking forward to Friends and ER! I know that might sound gay, but I'm more forward w/ ER... I wonder what they are going to do w/ some of the old characters and the new ones... But one thing for sure...I'M GLAD THE NFL AND THE NBA ARE BACK IN PRIME!!!

No Dark Angel and no Family Guy! I almost decided to not watch any of the new series in protest.. but I wont..Cedric looks good, I like his standup stuff.. and as a sci-fi freak...Ill give Firefly a chance.. and of course the second season of 24... other than that...reruns of Voyager on Sun nights and Entrprise when I can catch it...
Firefly will be the greatest TV show EVER. ... Ok, not really, but I'll still check it out. Joss Whedon has yet to let me down with Buffy and Angel. Because of Whedon, I expect Firefly to have smart dialogue and interesting plotlines. If he can at least meet those two requirements, Firefly will already be among the best shows on TV... (that should tell you what I think about the crap we're being forcefed on TV nowadays...). As for Hack and the Fast and the Furious Lane, I'll pass. I'm gonna avoid Girls' Club (or whatever the hell that woman lawyer show is) like the plague.
Agree with you on Firefly , Wheadon has yet to let me down! I'm gonna give Girls Club a chance. Three young and pretty lawyer chicks?! How can I pass that up?
