The man just came off surgery. This isn't a video game. What you expect for a guy coming off surgery to do. Just turn it on like that. Its not easy. Jason Kidd struggled. Hell Amare struggled and he is young. You have to wait to see what happens jeez. If thats the case we might as well just give up on Yao now. Hell he is gonna fail now because its the same damn foot causing him problems. Lets trade him now he sucks cause he is always injured
TMac doesn't have good fundamentals. He counted on his explosive first step to drive. He counted on his leap to get the opening in jumpers. Now both are gone, he doesn't have good footwork to compensate that. He's tall but not strong enough to play down low all day. He isn't used to cutting without ball to get opening. He might have some court vision but that's about it. And you have to run the offense through him to use that vision. No defense, no hustle, sub 40% shooting. And worst of all, big ego and a cancer in locker room. Both AI and Shaq have more games left and they haven't got a contract for a reason.
It's not that we are hating on T-mac. It's that we are putting out there, just stating that's what's going on, while the T-mac lovers are fantasizing about some glorious T-Mac starter that will drop 30 pt games. One situation is based in reality and what's happened recently and is going on now. The other situation is a fantasy. Do you seriously believe Thibs, a coach who focuses primarily on defense, would start T-Mac's defense over Deng and Brewer?
Dude, you don't trade him now, because it's the least value for an expiring contract. You get better value at the trade deadline than just a 28th pick and a trade exception like the Kings did with Artest.
3rd... Its crazy how this has become a what have you done for me lately forum.... Idk what it is. Maybe its hate for McGrady but its crazy how you don't see the trade Yao post coming up and he is also in and out of the lineup but hey what can you say. If he is decent in chi town i would imagine how many if mcgrady was still here threads pop up.
Nice to compare a boxer to a NBA player. Atleast it would have been good to compare McGrady fans to Steve Francis fans or something
Well, if we don't want to get just a 28th pick like the Kings, we would wait to trade Yao at the deadline to a team try trade him to another team. Teams will have a better idea of what the luxury tax will be for 2011-12, especially with the new CBA possibly changing things.
You tmac fans are insane, it's like you're little kids with your fingers in your ears goin "nah nah nah don't wanna hear it nah nah nah". Don't you think there is a reason so many people dislike Tmac now?? That he has left EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM he has played for cheering his departure?
He has a home in Chicago so that's great for TMac. But he needs minutes to be effective and he admitted when he was playing for the Knicks that his knee was still hampering his play. Unless it is for the min if I was the Bulls I wouldn't do it and if I was TMac I would have to think twice about taking a min deal where I wasn't getting 20-25 mins a game to rehab my game.
I believe you should start a player who best compliments the other players. McGrady over Deng is a must. Brewer compliments anyone really because he isnt a guy who demands the ball. He plays his role and his a great up and coming defender. Rose is unselfish and would let Boozer and McGrady get theres. I rather have Deng as the 6 man than McGrady but hey im not a coach and neither are others on this board. Like I said anything can happen between now and training camp where people can pass others and the starting lineup can change
It is always hilarious how T-Mac fans always rewrite history. T-Mac himself along with Tim Grover said that T-Mac was ready. T-Mac: The seven-time All-Star had microfracture surgery on his left knee in February, but insisted that he's fully recovered before Friday night's game against the streaking Atlanta Hawks. "Right now, I could play," he said. T. Grover: Tim Grover, trainer of the NBA stars, reports the Knicks would be lucky to get Tracy McGrady and invited NBA scouts to Chicago to check T-Mac out. "One-hundred percent ready to go and he's been ready," Grover told The Post from his Chicago athletic compound where he's been working with McGrady since Christmas. "No limitations, no anything." Here is a good recollection of the T-Mac Experiment while he was in the NY after his declaration that he was 100% ready. A guy that goes from "It's on me!" to throwing his teammates under the bus in one playoffs series, goes from fully recovered to saying how he didn't expect the grind and pain and went back to the bench and limited playing time, and finally burning bridges with every team he has left. His entire career has been built on making excuses and accusations of laziness. He is simply another diva in the NBA that wants to get by on talent alone and throw a hissy fit when he doesn't get his way. There is good reason for us to scorn this guy long after he leaves. Considering the bitter aftertaste his immature behaviors constantly caused, he deserves it through and through. Take your T-Mac nut love somewhere else. Doesn't he have his own site and forum somewhere for you guys to gather for a public internet orgy?
Lets see maybe cause fans are upset that he left because he was a good player. Hell why are Cleveland fans mad at LeBron?? Why are Timberwolves fans mad at KG?? Why are Toronto fans still mad at VC? Fans are mad because they don't understand the game. They don't understand that its a business
Ok so if McGrady kept his mouth shut it would have been ok. I mean Yao keeps his mouth shut and no one gets on him for what happens. Im only bringing Yao in this because Yao is so called the "other superstar" that was next to mcgrady yet he gets all the blame and not Yao. It seems like guys easily target McGrady yet he is the only one opening his mouth but never targets the guy who gets the most touches on the team which is Yao. The guy who is hurt from the same foot injury!!! Im sorry but im more of a realist than a McGrady fan but it kills me that guys treat Yao like he is god but never gets on him.
If he wasn't a quitter, it would make a big difference also. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TjbkXewxlGI&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TjbkXewxlGI&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Low Class fans? T-Maclady was the ultimate low class chic. The worst thing to do in life is to come near year maker and have to admit you were given and did nothing with. Tmac is the perfect example of that. Wasted talent and a low class man bad combination in my books.
Haha man, if that is really what you think, that the cavs fans are mad that LeBron made a business decision, that Toronto hates VC because they "don't understand the game" then we have nothing more to discuss, you have shown that you have absolutely no idea what your talking about. Peace.
Good for Tracy, I hope he is a big part of what they do over there. He didnt always handle things the right way over here, but he didnt deserve the witchhunt the vocal minority gave him.
