I was out playing golf, and it was threatening rain. We could see the lightning in the distance, but we were trying to get as much in as we could. When it caught up with me, I was putting, and lightning hit the ground about 100 yards behind us. I felt the shock run up my putter. It wasn't that painful, but definitely felt it, and my right hand and arm still feels a little tingly (90 minutes later). It freaked me out and definitely sent us into the clubhouse. I'm definitely hoping for a "Cool Story Bro".
I've had lightning strike 15 feet away from me before and I felt nothing. I was coloring at the kitchen table when I was a kid and lightning struck through our chimney and exploded kinda in the living room. I guess that could have lessened the effect or something who knows. Regardless 2 of our ceilings fell in because it busted 2 water pipes, yet I felt nothing.
I can't shoot anything out of my hands, or at least I can't figure out how yet. Maybe it'll make my putting better.
This is very, very dangerous - you could have easily lost a stroke or two on your score. Were you able to finish your round? Did it affect your swing? Will it cause the yips? Did it damage your club? These are extremely critical things to consider.
I nearly electrocuted myself today, when trying to unplug a fridge. It went up through my arms and into my chest, lucky to be alive.

No. We finished the hole, went back to the clubhouse and tried to wait it out. When we went back out, it started raining again, so we called it a day. I almost holed a 25 foot putt right after, so it if it did, it helped. No sign yet, but I'll try to watch out for them. No, it's in good shape. Very much so.
Okay may be overstating it. I just don't think it's any worse. I am fine. Even the tingling is gone now.
