Personally he is little too old for me. Got that old school bulldoggish sort of look and kinda like a vampire or something. So no he is not my type.
If you were looking around for basketball news on the net, would you stop and read an article called "Do you consider Daryl Morey hot" (on the list of up-and-coming GMs)?. Or "Is Kevin Martin pretty" (much the best scorer on the team)?. Or a detailed breakdown of Daryl Morey's fascination with big beefy guys (who are efficent players)? You do need Bill Simmons type irreverence to balance out the stiffs, its all in fun. But you probably wouldnt give too many repeat visits to that source of news.
Well, I haven't been on these boards for too long, but I already feel that Carl Herrera is a terrible, terrible poster. That's really saying something.
I've been on the boards as long as he has, and I consider him one of the best posters here. He's got an off-beat sense of humor that a lot of people hate, but when he's being serious his insights on the team are must-read. IMO.
Recently, it's been easier to get responses making a goofy pic / sex thread as opposed to a thread actually discussing basketball. Carl's absurd sense of humor is generally funny, and this thread is an example of how Clutchfans will fixate on the humor and not so much the content. No, I don't expect any different... it's the internet.
not going to lie, but he looked pretty handsome his rookie year in san diego, at least according to this pic. I think he is a bit more understanding and has a better relationship with players beyond the typical player-coach. Brad Miller explained all of that in the 1-on-1 interview he had with Jason Friedman. Adelman is probably most attractive to players that have played under him before and then get a different coach. Maybe they miss the relationship they had with him, how well his offense brought out the strengths in their game, or just his coaching style.
His threads are seriously better than at least 50% of the stuff that's posted in the GARM. Probably closer to 80%.
