Much as I will be pissed forever that Lundy's gone, I'm super-excited for this season. Season 2, to me, is miles away the best of the series, because the pressure was on Dexter himself; he was the one being chased by the cops. I'm glad they managed to create another situation where that is again the case.
I like that they didn't forget about all the little nagging plot holes left in season 4. I can see this season being very stressful to watch.
Thanks for posting, will be interesting to see where they take the show this season. I hope they don't rehash the same outcome the last time someone got suspicious about Dex.
Seriously can't wait for this one. It's far and away the best show I've seen. Never felt a kick in the gut like season 4. The new season looks to be like season 2 playing off of season 4's story. With those two being my favorite seasons, this one should be fantastic!
This looks like it will be the best and probably last season of Dexter. I like how the writers are following up season 4 like any sane police force would, rather than say "Oh somebody is dead, guess that's the end of that". I am really excited to see how Dexter gets out of the mountain of evidence that points to him being a killer. 1) The whole Kyle Butler thing. LaGuerta, Angel and Deb better not ignore the fact that the police sketch will look exactly like Dexter. Dex will also have absolutely no alibi while he was killing Trinity 2) The neighbors and Quinn talking about his sneaking around. It looks like this season Dex will need to take out Quinn. I hope the finale has Quinn trapped, but convincing Dex to confess. Dex killed an innocent man and now his family hates him 3) The Brian Moser/Ice Truck connection. Seems weird that they spent a good deal of time on Deb finding out about Dexter's connection to Brian. Deb should use this to motivate her to investigate Dex I hope they use their 12 hour to wrap up the series and have an amazing finale. Something completely unexpected, like he has a repressed memory of killing Rita, or he confesses, but everyone loves him and they throw a parade for him like he dreamed of in season 1.
I really want to watch that... but I just finished season 2 and don't want to be spoiled more than I already have been Now to get netflix to stream seasons 3 and 4!!
Wow this looks great -- this could very well be the last season the climax. When is the season starting?
Definitely do not watch that video if you've only seen the first two seasons. And just FYI, you can't stream 3 and 4 on Netflix.
Why do you think it's the last season? It seems strange for the show to quit when it's achieving its greatest success in terms of viewership.
Wishful thinking. They've already explored so much of Dex already, and if they are going to rehash season 2's Dex gets investigated by a douche Sargent a good twist would be Dex gets caught this time.
