Does anyone know anything about them? Has anyone heard anything? I know that all cell phone companies basically suck, but they seem to have pretty good rates, and their coverage works well for me. My only problem is that I've never heard of them until recently, so I'm a little leary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes - they are just a renamed Voicestream. Good rates and good coverage, you can even use their service in Europe if you have the right phone. They kinda pissed me off though. I tried to sign up with them and they wanted a deposit, but AT&T Wireless didn't and they gave me 2 free phones. I don't have bad credit either. Oh well. AT&T and Voicestream have good plans if you want a shared plan for you and someone else. from http://www.voicestream.com/ And the best part of the page. Mrs. Jones
Forget the service. At least I know who wins the "Great Cell Phone TV Commercials War." Sprint PCS commercials = annoying cell phone guy + guest stars Voicestream (old T-Mobile) commercials = Jamie Lee Curtis Verizon (NYC) commercials = James Earl Jones AT&T commericals = no stars and a big-ass AT&T logo Cingular commercials = annoying big-ass talking logo ... T-Mobile commercials = Catherine Zeta Jones EDIT: Damnit, Sonny! You beat me to the punchline...
Thanks guys, I should have done a little more research. Hell, I already have a Voicestream plan, but it's a local one as I didn't think I'd be doing much business travel outside of my areal. I thought Voicestream didn't have any roaming, so I just figured it wouldn't work when I took it to Stamford. I spent five weeks up there over the last few months, and I was surprised when I found out it did work. Boy am I stupid. I should have read the fine print. The $650 cell phone bill was quite the eye opener. I'll probably just go back to them....they haven't been bad; the phone bill was my own fault.
