Last week I noticed I had a cyst on my scalp. This wasn't too shocking since it runs in my family, and I had a cyst appear a few weeks ago. This one was different though, after a couple days I noticed I had lost my hair where the cyst was. It's been a week now, and still no hair there. It wasn't as noticable before yesterday because I just got a haircut, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. so has anyone ever had a cyst on their scalp? If so, did you lose hair where it was? Looks like I'm going to become a hat wearer
You probably just have an infection of your scalp. Possibly tinea capitis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tinea_capitis Anti-fungal treatment is useful if that is the case.
Sebaceous Cyst, more than likely. Harmless other than the pain and balding in these spots. My brother-in-law gets them and keeps his hair longer. Removal is an outpatient visit to a dermatologist. Go to youtube and look up the removal. Disgusting and fascinating at the same time.
my girlfriend has a few. she had one removed years ago because it was right at her hairline. i hadn't really noticed if there was hairloss, since there's so much other hair around it to cover it up.
lol OMG I think I can live with the bald spot. This video made me OK with this... Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwVkSdrWo1s&has_verified=1
That "lucid dream" you thought you had? It was really an alien working on your scalp, implanting a device that secretly forces you to conceive an alien halfbreed while asleep, which is part of their secret plan to take over the World using stealth technology. One attempted it on me, but I woke up, slapped the little b*stard silly, and then had victory sex with my significant other. You must be weak. Call the NSA, the CIA, and the FBI, like yesterday!
My old math teacher used to have a cyst. It wasn't as noticeable as you are saying it is... however he was bald to begin with...
