    great day for Houston fans worldwide if this comes true (pun intended)

    I am sure other GMs are just waiting to call him for a deal


    too bad NY really doesnt have anything of value right now


    the last player i can remember who became GM pretty quickly was Steve Kerr and he did a fine job in phoenix -- oh wait no he didn't even with Sarver's payroll cutting demands he made some curious moves that didnt help anyone's bottom dollar

    At least Allan Houston knows what a bad contract looks like. In fact, he has intimate personal knowledge of what a bad contract looks like.

    CH is the only one that got it. Houston will be a great GM because he knew what made a bad contract first hand.

    The GM position is not the same for every franchise.

    Some GMs have a lot of power, others do not...I expect AH, if he got the job, would be the latter.
