    This verdict is flawed. He caused an error in motive, but she still had consensual sex with him. The fact that her consensus was motivated by something he had deceived her about does not change that.

    Ok, so it rape if its non-consensual sex as well.

    Either way, make sure you just convert to Judaism just to be safe.

    But according to Israeli law, I'm not a jew unless my parents were European Jews. So I can't convert... good thing I'm not attracted to Israelis

    I question if it is truly "consensual" when there is deception involved.

    Let's suppose, hypothetically, that a man had the ability to transform himself to look like any person. There's a girl he really likes, and he disguises himself to look like her boyfriend. He has sex with her without her knowing his true identity. Is that really consensual? I think its fair to call that rape.

    This is sort of the same thing. To a lesser degree, of course.
