Poor Pistons fans. I have a lot of friends in Detroit and I tend to root for them as my Eastern Conference team. But they are sooooo bad.
That's a shame. Probably has something to do with the shoe company he signed with... still, he's over 6 feet and has displayed good leadership skills.
You've gotta be sympathetic to new guys getting injuries. They don't expect to start long careers in the hospital or in a cast. Now, when the Lakers or Jazz have a significant injury, I'm not as sympathetic. No celebration, of course, but no negative emotions.
This isn't anything major at all. The recovery time is less than a week. No one is saying what it is, but he's supposedly had the problem since high school. I'm guessing an ingrown toenail. At any rate, it's a negligible surgery that he will be completely recovered from with weeks and weeks to spare before training camp.
Big men these days just cant stay healthy with there lower limbs. Some of these guys were made in a test tube and have faulty mechanics.
