from Golden State in a S&T for a 2nd round pick. http://twitter.com/MSteinmetzCSN/status/18957988176 Reportedly for 3 years, 10.2 million
Nice pickup for the Bulls. Watson is a nice backup PG. He's not Lowry-level, but he'll be decent nonetheless.
Speaking of Lowry <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NqSV57on0_8&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NqSV57on0_8&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Nice. He'll be giving them what Jannero Pargo was supposed to off the bench. The guy can flat out score.
Been official for a couple decades now It's a cute acquisition but ppl are going overboard with their Bulls hype. They added 3 ex-Jazz and CJ Watson. That doesn't make them a contender. The only thing that will get them over that hump is if Derrick Rose becomes a Deron Williams/Chris Paul caliber PG. That's possible, he's still really young turning 22 at the beginning of the season, but everything hinges on him.
Derrick Rose is a top 5 point guard. Boozer gives them an inside outside combo with Noah. Imagine a Noah and Boozer frontcourt! Korver gives them an outside shooter that they sorely missed with the departure of Gordon. Brewer gives them a lockdown defender who his tough as hell. Only player I've seen not back down to Artest. Watson just gives them a spark off the bench ala Wafer and Crawford. Also, Noah was injured for most of the season and now is fully healthy. Him and Boozer will grab every rebound possible. Don't forget about Coach Thibbs. His defense will make the Bulls the top defensive team in the league. Rose/Watson Brewer/Korver Deng/Johnson Boozer/Gibson Noah/Asik Damn, that's a solid lineup.
Chicago isn't even the best team in their division, IMO. That title would belong to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Wow, you're already ready to say that about someone who hasn't coached a day in the NBA up to this point?
He's been Ass. Coach for a long time. A darn good defensive Ass. Coach. Doesn't matter what position he holds. His team will play good defense.
Are you kidding me? They got Carlos Boozer and some bags of chips. With all that cap room they had they didn't really do anything that will send them into elite status. They'll maybe get out of the second round but thats about it.
They are going for the Harrison Barnes sweepstakes judging by their roster. But that didn't turn out too well for the Nets last year did it?
Shane diving for loose balls, Lowry hustling to make a spectacular play, Ariza boxing out on defense, Lowry not giving up after 1 great play. That short clip just about sums up the Rockets in a nutshell.
