    Wandy's command.....check
I would also like to say the Cubs deserve it for scoring 5 earned runs against my Fantasy Baseball Ace, Roy Halladay

No, he's been there since the break.

To be fair, he was there yesterday when the Astros' offense looked as bad as it has all year.

Pence works a full count with Puma at first. They try a hit and run, forcing Pence to swing at a bad pitch for the strikeout and Puma is tagged out at 2nd.

Ha really? I don't really watch pre-game shows, I was mad thought, I thought Halladay was shutting down the cubs and when I got home I was right on time to watch Sorianos homerun

It seems like there will be quite a few good hitting catchers in the big leagues for the next 10 years or so, esp. if the Nats put Harper back there (I've heard he may play OF though).

Posey and Santana look really special, offensively. I'm not sure how good either will be behind the plate though.

Let's hope Castro joins the mix at some point. I like what I've seen out of him for the most part despite the numbers.

Bagwell really has turned that Castro kid around in just a few games. ;)

Actually, I'm sort of on the side that a hitting coach can't make that much of an impact at this level...

However, Castro has seemed more aggressive since coming out of the break. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing but he's pulled just about every ball since then.

Early on, he was showing great discipline and hitting balls to all fields (including those that ended up as outs) but he was also taking a lot of good pitches.

The key will be striking a balance between his discipline and his aggressiveness and finding out where he fits best in the order.

    Lee owns Wandy.

    Ramirez goes deep.

Believe it or not, the Cubs are back in it.

Wandy struggling in the middle innings a la early in his career.

Berkman pulls a Byrd on the Cubs. Can't make a play on a pop fly but picks it up and throws Soriano out at 2nd.

CJ with his first career HR.

I'm really hoping to see more power out of him because he's going to need to show plenty of it to stick at this level. It's hard to ever see him even being league average in terms of getting on base.

I am not a fan of Ed Wade but I got to give him credit for getting Angel Sanchez for a 33 year old backup journey man catcher.

And just like that their not, BTW Buster Olney is reporting the Yankees are interested in Brett Myers after Pettites injury, maybe we could get that top catching prospect New York has for him :p

I don't mean to take away from Wade but that was basically a trash for trash trade. It was an easy move with both teams having a need for each other's trash. I wouldn't call it a good move or a bad move... pretty much just a standard move that every GM pulls off from time to time.

I do think Wade deserves a lot of credit for Myers and Lindstrom. Lindstrom may not be putting up great peripherals but he's been good and it was a reasonable contract.

Ultimately, he will be judged on how he rebuilds the farm system given the state of this organization. So far, we seem to be moving in the right direction. Things look considerably better today than they did when he took over.

CJ with a triple to go with his HR.

The ball was hit more like a typical up-the-line double but took an odd bounce off the wall along the right field line.

He also hit the ball to the opposite field which is a good sign.
