I'm just glad he understands his role to contribute towards the team, and not just selfishly scoring. A more improved Wafer

congrats and good luck to him

    Food fight!!! lol

Seriously, if Lowry is getting paid nearly $6M, AB will will get $9-10M. As good as he is, do you guys see Morey paying that much money for a player who plays only offense? Let us be honest here, AB is a ZERO as far as defense goes.

DD, Reeko may have a point that AB may be moved by the trading deadline. Caveat: if the team is doing exceptionally well (e.g. top 3), disregard this post.

On defense he is already....and I guess time will tell, JT improved some, but to me, in the summer league, he really did nothing other than score against lessor talent.

The coaches asked him to start facilitating more, didn't happen.

True but once he starts playing with the big boys i dont think he will have to work so hard to facilatate but this is my opinion.

If he doesn't facilitate with the big boys he won't be playing.

He is just not good enough off the bounce to consistently get by NBA players.

He is a bulldog mentality, and I like that a lot, but he plays "Stupid" basketball when he is on the floor.

Elite athletes can get away with that if they are good enough, but guys that are not quite good enough and play that way are D-leaguers at best.

And that is where Taylor is right now.....

Only time will tell... but i think if he works hard enough they will give him an opportunity early in the season to play significant minutes and its what he does with that opportunity we will see how much he plays this season.

There is no way he will play any significant role unless there is a trade or someone is injured, there are just too many good players ahead of him.

He is about as redundant as Mike Harris and Mr. Johnson, if he weren't guaranteed, I would bet money he would be cut.

Didn't Joey Dorsey also do well in the Summer league? How did that work out for hi

Seriously, it is like people want a team filled with Ryan Bowen clones.

AB can play defense....he is no stopper but he generally plays better than the guy he is guarding.

Not at all, he outplays many better PGs, like Billups and CP3, and he holds his own against others as well...

Overall, I think he is a mismatch on 75%+ of the games.

There were times esp. under JVG when we would ravel at having a healthy and productive Kirk Snyder as SG.
Jermaine is better. We shall see how Adelman really values the kid. Rio Grande or not YOU cannot do anything about it. Only watch

Right, then why isn't he a solid all star?

He never outplayed Chris Paul, I have no idea where you are getting this from.

As for Billups, the ball is always in Brooks hands, but for the Nuggets the ball is always in Carmelo's hands. If Billups was given possession of the ball more frequently, he would naturally score more points and assists as well.

    I don't disagree with this.

Clutchfans like to pick one fault and fixate on it, forgetting about the positives.

AB is a helluva player and being great offensively can make up for being lackluster defensively. It's not like he runs off and leaves his man wide open, he's just a small guy.
