of course. The coaches always want to add dimensions to a player's game. That's natural. Fact is he does not need to do much because thats where we spend our 5 mio on. BMiller to feed him the ball in the second unit. And of course there are Kyle and Budinger. I can live with 4 guys passing the ball to the scorer.

I've been impressed with JT since the Lakers game when he played Kobe tougher than anyone on the team besides Shane. Once he learns the nuances of playing D from Shane, I think he's a keeper.

I would like to see the same toughness from the high jumping luke "Bud" skywalker.

Yeah, all tournament SL team......the most meaningless award evah !

Big deal, the guy went downhill after game 1....still scored, but turned it over a lot and couldn't see an open teamate if he was standing in front of him.

Barring injuries I doubt he sees much of Houston..but the Rio Grande Vipers would be better with him.

He will be taking away minutes form Bud this year. The coaching staff said it as well. He's going to be great attacking the basket behind Martin.

You thought wrong, the guy is a head down, attack the rim player, without the ability to get by NBA quality wings.

A good athlete, just not an NBA player right now.

And folks...stop the hater crap, this is just how I see him as a player, I don't HATE the guy, I just think he is too flawed to help right now.

Send him to Rio Grande to learn the team game, and if he doesn't by next summer cut him loose.

    Sig bet, tough guy?

Learn to hit the open teamate, learn to go to his left hand side, and learn to protect the ball.

    That explain it?

Sorry DD, as respected as you are on the bbs, you are definitely hating on JT. For no reason at all. Yet you have nothing but praise for Chase who did not impress the experts enough to make the meaningless SL tourney.

    Whatever....

Chase is a better basketball player than JT, a LOT better....

Didn't John Lucas III win the MVP of the SL?

    These are glorfied scrimmages...nothing more.

2 week sig ownership.......but what shall the bet be, how do we solve the Playing time issue for JT?

It has to be something like....barring injury JT will not be in the rotation etc...etc...etc...not sure how to structure it...any thoughts?

Congrats to JT! I love his dunks! Even in NBA 2k he's a beast dunking.

JT is ridiculous in 2K. Him and Ariza are Dunking machines. ;)

and BTW. I love Bud but I can't see him as a 2 at all. He could expose opposing SF in matchups and I really like him play making ability.

When Battier gets traded at the deadline I think Chase will start to see significant backup minutes but until then they need a backup for Martin and that's JT.

Well, I guess we could go by minutes played and if JT gets sent to Rio Grande for more than a couple of days.

If JT ends up spending a week in Rio then I automatically lose.

I think AB slides over there to play with Lowry, like last year.

Losing the ball significantly does not bode well for further chemistry. Bud will know it. Jerm will know it. Same mistakes at times.
