47-35. 7th seed. (Kings, Spurs, Lakers, Mavericks, Jailblazers, Timberpups, Us, Clips). Road to the Championship: Spurs, Lakers, Kings, er, the Cavaliers? (if we could make it past any of the first three teams, would it matter who we played in the Finals?)
What'd they win last year? 46 games? Take last years wins and add the following: Healthy...... MoT 3 wins Rice 2 " Steve 4 " Take those time 0.5 Now you're at, say, 50 wins. Mings presence and a steadily-improving Cato will add around 5 to 6 more wins. Therefore, say 55 to 56 wins. Heck, that's a 3 seed in the West. No way, I won't believe it until I see it. My gut tells me the Rockets will be lucky to win 52 games. Remember, there are only so many wins to go around, and we can rest assured that San Antonio, LA, Sacramento, and Dallas will get their wins.
I'll go with 43-39, which should be good for the 8th seed. Yao will have growing pains at first, but as the year progresses, I fully expect him to adjust and become a solid center. The key will be how well hes able to run the floor with Stevie and Cat, and if hes able to do that, 43 wins may not be big enough. 2003-04 should be awesome!
I am going to be conservative and go with 49-33 and make a good showing in the first round but lose 3-2. If only the season will begin. I can't stand the wait.
Okay that was an, er, typo, or something. What I meant to say was we'll beat San Antonio in five. DAMN YOU PEOPLE THAT READ EVERY POST!!! I was just trying to get my post count up to respectability! .500 if they are lucky. They still need to learn how to play as a team, Yao does not change that. Besides he won't be enough of a factor to credit any wins to his mere presence.
damn u chance, i was just getting that song out of my head and then i have to go and read your post!!
