Nolan is all flash, no substance. Morey is more like Tarkovsky or Kubrick.

Although the OP may have started this thread as a joke, some of us know the truth... Morey, in his younger days, encountered a unique man by the name of Tesla. Tesla told Morey of a machine that can create copies of a man. At first Morey was frightened by such a powerful machine, and he shot his first clone dead. Eventually though, Morey realized that the masses want not only tangible entertainment (Professional sports), they also want fictional, escapist entertainment. He then proceeded to create a sole clone. After a bit of plastic surgery and vocal coaching, Christopher Nolan was created. Now Morey/Nolan delivers not only a championship caliber basketball team that is followed on a global level, but he also creates some of the most captivating and brilliant movies in recent history.

Nolan is actually very little flash and possibly too much substance.

Absolutely completely disagree. Memento? The Prestige? Inconception? Those are bigger in substance than flash, specially Inconception. That movie will keep you thinking throughout and afterwards. The only one you can remotely say he is more flash than substance would be Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I even there say, for superhero movies, they are pretty substantial.

I don't know what "inconception" movie you are talking about, but Inception was pretty good :)

It's hard to believe that they've heard our saying about Morey...

but "In Nolan we trust" is something I've read on movie nerd sites...

Does this mean you watched an entire movie and you don't even know it's name?

Completely agree, except for the 'inconception' thing.
